A lounge chair derived from human movement: an angled stainless steel frame and stitched tan leather.
Backflow Chair begins with the crab-walk pose: a body leaning back, propped on its hands. In the sketches, that line becomes two angled steel frames with a seat slung between them.
Drawings
The frame is stainless steel; the seat is tan leather divided by horizontal stitching. Designed by Sinan Karakuş, the chair is an attempt to translate human movement into functional form.
