Nish Art Dental is a dental clinic that wanted an atmosphere steeped in art. Its unconventional sculptures and artworks were the starting point for the desk; concrete and timber were chosen to suit the building's postmodern architecture and the clinic's artistic character. In keeping with the linear decor of the room, the central timber section is divided into blocks like a Rubik's Cube, with projecting pieces representing the clinic's four dentists. The concrete was finished to bring out the building's postmodern character, and the timber chosen for its warmth.
