A steel R&D hangar added to the existing factory of an industrial machinery manufacturer in the TÜBİTAK R&D zone in Gebze, with its offices and production areas reorganised.

Kestech manufactures industrial machinery. For its new machines we added an R&D building to the existing factory and reworked the adjoining building to function alongside it: offices, management and production areas, floor plans and partitions were all redrawn. Drawings and designs produced in the office now go straight into the R&D hall.

The R&D hall required a large crane to move heavy materials and machinery. For speed of construction and durability, the building has a steel structure anchored to a concrete foundation.
